I just can't be bothered coming up with a title today. Meh.
So, got some more photos online, of Superga, me frolicking in the snow like a small retarded child and the Egyptian Museum. The ones of the snow and Superga are kinda bad quality because they're actually photos of the photos I took with a non-digital camera my host family kindly leant me. So yes, fun times, go look now.
In other news, yesterday I went ice skating, hooray, very fun, and I did not fall down, which was a surprise. For the first half hour or so I just crept along holding the barrier, afraid to fall down and be run over by someone, changing my status as 'the girl who can't understand anything you say' to 'the girl with nine fingers'. Got over it though and skated around like a mad fool, pretending that I was Geena Davis in The Long Kiss Goodnight, except with less jumping and spinning and shooting people.
Also, talked to Aksel, old friend from Busso, who I haven't spoken to in about 2 and a half years. Fun times. Of course, being me, my questions are more 'What do you think of Doctor Who?' than 'So what have you been up to?'
And that is all. Still a little bored in class, but I'm understanding way more than I did. This week I understood that the teacher was talking about evolution in biology and then yesterday I actually put my hand up when the history teacher asked if anyone had seen Hotel Rwanda. Everyone was like 'Huh, so she actually understands stuff'.
