Hello my friends! My haven't some things changed since I last posted on this here blog place. During a 4 day getaway to Novara (with day trips to Bologna and Milano. Sorry, Milan, still in Italian mode) I've made several changes:
1. Dyed my hair ginger. I've been planning on going back to my natural hair colour for a while and my roots were starting to showso when Elena offered to colour it for me I thought 'Hey, why not?' I forgot one important detail though: store bought hair colour doesn't affect black hair. And so I end up with black hair and orange roots. I have photos. Anyways, state of hair emergency is called, I got to the hairdresser and 3 hours, €73 and a whole lot of pointing at swatches later my hair is ginger. Different to what I wanted but I love it. And I just realised how shallow that whole paragraph sounded. Meh.
2. Vowed to only speak Italian, except in emergencies. I have been way to lax with speaking English, my fear of screwing up keeping me from speaking Italian. But no more! I will be strong!
3. Stopped being so damn quiet. One of my biggest faults is being super shy around people I don't know, so you can guess that I've kind of kept to myself lately.
4. Stopped reading English books. I can do that at home and it's not gonna help me learn Italian, so no more reading English books. Sure, it took me half an hour to read one page of Bridget Jones's Diary but the pros outweigh the cons.

Amd that's about it. No really that interesting in writing but I feel all invigorated and happy. Pèositive change, huzzuh!

In more interesting news, I visited Bologna and my god was it beautiful. I was actually in awe in some churches they were that beautiful. I wish I had photos but my damn camera's still out of batteries. Oh well, I'll just steal some from Alexander's photo blog. Mwahahaha, the perfect crime.
